Lately I’ve done more walking than I used to. Whether it’s a quick stroll round town, a longer ramble along country paths, or a lazy weekend wander — I’ve realised that walking can be just as grounding as any gym session or sport, and that realisation got me thinking: maybe it’s time I treated walking with the respect it deserves. Maybe a decent pair of walking shoes — not just any old trainers — is exactly what I need. Because, walking may seem simple. You just put one foot in front of the other and you’re moving. But when you start doing it often, for hours at a time, walking becomes something your body really notices. Heels ache. Ankles get tired. Feet feel sore. Suddenly the cheap trainers don’t feel so comfortable for you. So why not invest in a good pair of walking shoes instead?
