Simple Solutions: 7 Easy Ways to Live a Healthier Life in 2023

12/04/2023 by Adam

Would you love to enhance your health this year? Look no further than these seven easy ways to live a healthier life in 2023:

1. Use Healthy Cookware

Did you know that certain cookware, such as non-stick cookware coated with Teflon, can release nasty chemicals into the air as it heats? Inhaling these chemicals can even lead to something called Teflon flu. To avoid unnecessary exposure to such chemicals, switch to non-toxic pots and pans. You’ll be rewarded with an instant improvement to the safety of your kitchen with Green Pan products.

2. Let Nature Nurture You

Time in nature is known to improve symptoms of anxiety and depression. It can also lower blood pressure and even boost your rate of healing. In general, nature is where it’s at for an abundance of benefits for mind, body, and soul. Whether you look at tiny ants doing their thing, walk barefoot on some grass, or take up wild swimming, more time in nature will make this a healthier year for you.

3. Embrace The BOPO Movement

The best way to make healthy habits stick is to start by loving and accepting the body you have now. Hating the body you have – the vessel that keeps you alive – never leads to good things. So consider embracing body positivity and the BOPO movement this year. Of course, there’s a toxic side to BOPO too. However, you can find plenty of nourishing inspiration from body-positivity leaders like Lizzo, Blair Imani, Jessica Kellgren-Fozard, and Christine McGuiness. Learn to love who you are now while still taking steps to improve your health. You can also achieve this using an online health coach which is always more convenient.

4. Try More Plant-Based Meals

Science tells us there is a direct link between meat consumption and obesity, as well as medical conditions like high cholesterol. So why not try a whole food plant-based diet this year? With the right planning, vegan and vegetarian diets can be nourishing and supportive of your health goals.

5. Consider Therapy

Therapy can be incredibly beneficial, especially if you have a diagnosed mental health challenge, like one in five US adults. It can take some time to find a therapist who’s a good fit for your needs and budget. However, if you feel like you could use some emotional support, it can be well worth the effort to find a suitable therapist. If you’ve been putting it off, this could be your year to take the plunge and get talking.

6. A Social Media Break

Scientific studies have shown many different links between social media use and mental health problems. One such study showed that regular users showed a 70% increase in depression-related symptoms compared to a control group that didn’t use the platforms at all. Take time away from social media to boost your well-being, especially if you know that it makes you feel bad.

7. Make More Friends

The more we work remotely, spend time on social media, and have access to our work 24/7 because of technology, the less time we spend with other people. This can lead to loneliness, and scientific studies show that loneliness can be as dangerous as alcoholism or smoking 15 cigarettes a day. To be healthier and happier, prioritize spending time with loved ones, and consider activities that could help you meet new friends.

With the changes above, you can have a happier and healthier 2023. You deserve to not just survive and exist every day, but to thrive and live each day with energy and vitality. It’s time to feel better and start making beautiful memories – 2023 is the year of your well-being glow-up!
