The Health Hangover

22/03/2017 by Adam

Sometimes eating healthy food all the time can be quite painful. You get bored and stop, or worse never really begin. It can be daunting, and feel like an uphill battle the whole time. There are ways around this attitude to health, but the biggest blocker is yourself. It is you, and only you that is negating what you have set out to do. Only you who does not exercise or eats bad. First, you need to address your own attitude towards the issue. Then you can start making improvements. Here are some tips to get you started, you may have already considered them, but with your renewed attitude they could be far more accessible.

Use Fruit As A Snack

Snacking is an easy way for downfall. When you are idle, or working around food it is all too easy to keep picking up snacks and munching away. The trick to get through this is to snack on things that are good for you. Of course even fruit can be bad in excess because of the large amount of sugar. Mix it up, these days you can buy dried fruit online and it can be a better snack because it is quite chewy, so it takes longer to eat and stops you eating too much. Get something that is fiddly so takes a while to prepare like an orange. This takes up time. If you are a snacker use the snacking opportunity to eat good, healthy food. You can use it to boost you towards your recommended daily fruit intake.

Start On The Water

Water is one of the best things in the world you can drink regularly. It has no sugar, no fat, nothing of the bad sort but comes equipped with a huge amount of benefits for you. It kick starts your metabolism, gives you good skin and increases your energy levels. Try just keeping a bottle of water next to you throughout the day and you’ll see you start drinking more and more. It can help flush out your system of toxics to. You may be going to the bathroom more regularly, but it is a good thing, not bad. You can find all of the amazing benefits here. The best thing about water is that you have no excuse whatsoever, it’s just so easy.

Exercise By Doing What You Enjoy

When you are sick of the whole health kick, a good way of getting exercise is by doing something you love or enjoy. You can consider a team sport that you are fond of like football, or perhaps a game like tennis. By playing these you are getting exercise without even realising it because you are having fun. Look at doing something like cycling too, a mode of transport that you may enjoy but it supremely good for you. Consider cycling to your local store instead of driving. Little changes like this can make the world of difference to your fitness regime and can get the body working and heart beating with relative ease.
