Hello to all the foodies and fitness fanatics out there! First of all, I wanted to say how sorry I am for not being able to write full posts, but with Mortgage Advisory exams going on since February and a LOT of revision, note-making and library visits it’s been a case of dealing with that alongside meeting my own goals.
You will probably have noticed that there have been plenty of recipes being posted over the last 3-4 weeks and, due to popular demand, that will certainly continue to be the case. Any requests? Please let me know!
What have I been up to? Still plenty of gym sessions. Due to the convenience of where I’m based, I actually joined a 2nd gym in the city centre of Liverpool called PureGym. The fact that they are open every single day, 24 hours a day (including Christmas Day!) makes it my kind of place to train! As I paid annually for Ben Dunne and it’s very close to work, I’ll keep going to both.
Despite working on many fronts lately, I decided to get a quick health screening at work. AXA Health had come in which allowed all staff members to have many important vital signs fully checked. This included Blood Pressure, BodyFat, Metabolic Age, Weight, Visceral Fat and much more. I’ll go into the full details in a separate post but overall I was satisfied with my results, especially being told my Metabolic Age is 15 (I’m 29!).
What’s next? My Summer Holidays in Paphos, Cyprus. The Summer and being abroad remind me fondly of where Food&Fitness Always actually started, almost 1 year ago, and I’m so pleased with how far it has come and the positive feedback the blog continually receives.
So thank you all for your continued support, especially over these last 6 months. Please keep the comments and suggestions coming and I will keep producing new and exciting recipes, publishing fitness and training advice and much more.
It’s going to be a great Summer!
Adam
