Becoming Alpha In 2018 – What Does It Really Mean?

It’s 2018. Well, nearly. People are excited for the new year, to begin a fresh new start and to begin their life responsibilities renewed once more. If you’re a guy, it’s likely that you’re focusing on whether you were the man you’ve wanted to be in the past year. Most men hold themselves to a crazily high standard, and are too easy to feel happy answering ‘no’ to that question.

If this is you, then improvement might be necessary.l Working hard at your responsibilities can help you become better, but only if you keep the right attitude. 2018 is the year you become alpha, we know it. But what does alpha really mean? The world has taken on a connotation lately which could be considered negative. It usually denotes a dominant-at-all cost and worryingly short-sighted type of guy. This can turn off men from making strides to self-improvement, because they don’t; want to become ‘that guy.’ At least that’s what they tell themselves.

We’re here to help you identify what alpha really means, and how you can use it in your life with greater success.

An Alpha Doesn’t Complain

There is no need to complain. Either you can fix a problem you are experiencing (in which case why shouldn’t you right now?) or you can’t, and should move on or learn to cope with it. Complaining solves absolutely nothing, and gives birth to one of the most damaging human emotions – self-pity. Self-pity is a very painful and very useless emotion. It offers nothing, apart from embittering you to the state of the world around you. For your mental, physical and emotional health, refrain from complaining. Make action your friend.

For example, if you’ve put on too much weight this year, you could complain. You could self-deprecating, and wallow in your failure. You could lament over lost time in the gym or worry about how your partner sees you and require her to give you constant validation.

Alternatively, you could do something about it, and be grateful for the fact that you’re able to do that without much difficulty. Using a systemized and progressive fat loss program such as the one offered by Adam Kemp Fitness https://www.adamkempfitness.com/ will give you a direction to follow, one which will help you ignore your mistake and instead completely focus on a solution. We couldn’t think of anything more alpha.

An Alpha Trusts Themselves

The main difference between an alpha male and your standard guy is a willingness to trust themselves no matter what. Sure they might be lacking in some critical skill when approaching a task. You might initially think this excludes them from justifiable self-trust as they are deficient in a specific skill. Not so. A true alpha trusts themselves to use temperance in the situation, and defer to the professional, or if not possible brush up on the skill themselves in their own time. It may be worth checking out a site like https://www.knowledgeformen.com/alpha-male-traits/ to find out more when it comes to alpha male traits. The more people know about this, the easier it may be to apply these traits to their own lives, in the hopes of being the best they can be.

This iron will allows for someone to be temperate and motivated at the same time, but only if they trust themselves to the correct course of action. Even if a man is chaotic and feels emotionally complex, if they can look in the mirror and trust themselves to keep to their predefined decisions, then they will always be a step ahead.

With these tips, your progression towards alpha status will be closer than ever. When you truly become an alpha, you won’t be worried about being defined as one. That’s how you’ll know you made it.

Good luck!
