Week 44 Updates!

29/10/2014 by Adam

This week has been all about the usual things I do every week that I’ve been doing for the past few months: “cooking food” and “working out”, so why change a potentially winning formula? Well I’ve decided to add a third element to my life and no, it’s not work! It’s Food Photography.

Over the past few weeks I’ve been getting more and more into photography. I mean I create and cook the recipes anyway, it’s only right I photograph them to make the creations look their absolute best. I never realised just how much there was involved in learning about exposure, composition, camera settings and styling, but even though I’ve only recently started, it is something I plan to keep on going since I’m enjoying it so much.

Yesterday the worst thing that could possibly happen to a guy who takes building muscle so seriously ended up happening. The protein I buy once a month spilled out everywhere as soon as I opened the package up. I picked it up in the heavy rain yesterday afternoon from the Amazon Locker down the road and was in such a rush I didn’t even have the time to inspect the parcel as I had to go back out again.

protein everywhere!

The traffic was heavy and whilst waiting I could smell the chocolate protein powder on me. Strange as I’d showered since having my daily shake that morning, so I had my suspicions that something wasn’t right. When I did get back I realised they hadn’t screwed the top on properly (I know, I cried a little too).

Thankfully Amazon were very good, they offered me a full refund and there was still some protein to salvage! It is expensive but the quality (and taste!) is important for building muscle and helping with the recovery process.

Aside from that I’ve been creating some really exciting new recipes and following some delicious existing ones that I plan on sharing with you guys very soon. Thank you for your continued support and together we shall go places.
