Titanic Hotel Liverpool’s Fire & Ice Christmas Parties

24/09/2017 by Adam

Just over a week ago now I was asked to attend the Titanic Hotel Liverpool’s ‘Fire & Ice Party Night Launch’ which was a preview into their Christmas-themed parties for the season ahead.

My first thoughts were ‘but Christmas is months away!’ yet when I thought about it, it’s actually around this time that people, businesses etc start to make plans for this year’s Christmas parties.

The key thing is of course getting it right by choosing the right venue, the right theme and ensuring everyone has a bloody good time!

I’d never actually been to the Titanic Hotel before, however I’d heard some wonderful things about it. So the standards had already been set and I just hoped that my expectations were going to be met.

As soon as I walked into the beautiful dockside surroundings of Stanley’s Bar & Grill I knew I’d be in for a great evening. There was a prosecco reception upon arrival and a room that was beautifully presented with the theme of fire and ice.

The room had beautifully contrasting cool tones from the ice theme, particularly on the stage, yet there was also that warmth at the same time. The organisers had captured the theme very well and I was really looking forward to the food!

Having a Christmas dinner in the middle of September wasn’t something I could say I’d had very often, yet we were transported into this beautiful Christmas theme, it made it difficult to remember it actually wasn’t Christmas!

The food was delicious. The menu itself was well-thought out, with the traditional Turkey on offer with all the trimmings done very well. The dessert was to die for, I chose the White Chocolate & Bailey’s Cheesecake and even now whilst I’m writing this review I just want to go back and have another!

The band that played were excellent. Their music was recognisable and blended really well with the ambience of the evening.  They weren’t too loud either which meant it didn’t take too much attention attention away from being able to have your own conversations with the people around you.

As you’ll see from the photos, the fire-breathing was mesmerising and you just couldn’t look away! Apparently this was a taster and at the full Christmas party there’d be many of them performing at once!

So overall it was a really enjoyable evening with great surroundings, exceptional food and wonderful entertainment. The reputation of the Titanic Hotel, Liverpool really lived up to it and I can’t wait to go back!

Below are all the photos that I captured, as well as some that the hotel’s photographers captured. I’ve also included the full press release so that you can find details on how to book your own ‘Fire & Ice Christmas Party’ at the hotel.
