Slendertone Abs Belt – Final Week

21/10/2014 by Adam

So it’s the final week of trialling the Slendertone Abs belt and I’ve got to admit, I’ve really enjoyed the process of giving a product a go and telling you guys my open and honest opinion, which I always aspire to do.

The first thing I’ll say is that, trial or no trial, I’ll still keep on using the Abs belt. Why? Because it has helped me reach my goals sooner than even I was expecting. I’m not saying that the product is some kind of ‘miracle product’ but by using the belt, 5 days a week and increasing the stimulation during each session, I feel as though it’s a product worth incorporating into my busy fitness lifestyle.

The convenience aspect alone is a major plus. Personally, I like to wind down in the evenings and watch some television, I work hard all day and then work on the blog in the early hours of the evening. After that it’s ‘chilling time’ and there’s nothing wrong with using the belt then. It won’t make you sweat, or make your heart-rate majorly increase, instead it will stimulate your core and abs, and if you want a tight, toned stomach, you won’t be disappointed.

If there were any downsides to the product I’d say they were minimal. The pads are pretty cold when you first attach the belt to your bare stomach! They will also need replacing, as after 4 weeks they do show some signs of wear. The overall price is quite expensive but saying that, the belt is built to last for a long time so I would definitely say it’s worth it in that respect.

I would recommend this product to someone who already has little fat around their stomach area, who leads a fairly active lifestyle and takes their diet seriously. The belt won’t make you thin and it won’t increase your overall fitness, like I’ve already said, it’s not a miracle product and you do have to put in the overall fitness work. What it does, it does well and will give you that extra 10% of what you’re perhaps missing from your current workout regime.

The product is also perfect for guys that mostly focus on their upper body during their workouts i.e. Chest, Arms, Shoulders etc who perhaps don’t find the time to build their Core and Abs but want a stronger six-pack.

At first I was very sceptical but I kept an open mind. I did very little abdominal exercise at the gym to see if the belt alone could not only maintain my toned stomach but perhaps even improve it. The photographs speak for themselves, however I actually feel stronger around the stomach area, my balance and posture have also improved, which directly helps my Arms, Chest, Back & Shoulder workouts.

So I hope this 4-week product review has helped you guys in deciding whether it’s worth purchasing the Slendertone Abs Belt. I know I’ll keep on using mine and eventually get to Level 150!

It will certainly work and it’s pretty intense the higher the settings are but well worth it and afterwards you know you’ve had a mid-section workout! good luck 🙂

No harm in giving this a go Matthew, you’ll definitely feel as though you’ve given your abs a workout the next day!

    Brilliant reviews.
I suffer with bad back and a rib that pops, which stops me doing most stomach workouts.
    this may be the answer…

It’s definitely worth trying it out Victoria. I was given mine over 6 months ago now and I’m still a regular user!
