It’s May! Time To Get Serious!

04/05/2016 by Adam

I can’t believe it’s May already, I’m sure we were celebrating the new year last weekend! But here we are and it’s time to get serious about the fitness goals and ambitions we’ve set for ourselves, especially as the Summer is right around the corner.

I’ve written this post to offer you guys my best advice of how to get to where you want to be, as well as some motivation, protein product ideas and a very healthy discount too!

Only in the last week or so have I felt that I’ve finally began to kickstart my fitness campaign.

This is the year that I moved locations, had a few injuries & changed gyms. These aren’t excuses but issues that have resulted in a loss of momentum, just as it had arrived.

And momentum is everything in this business.

You start to put a number of solid workouts together, back-to-back, you eat right, you don’t miss any sessions and you work exceptionally hard right when it matters.

This in turn gives you confidence that you’re on a roll and nothing and nobody will stop you.

It’s a truly great feeling and the key is to continuously make the right choices over a prolonged period of time, and when you don’t do what you’ve set out it can have an adverse affect.

You’ve got to draw the line somewhere though, move on and move forward.

Within the month of May I plan to go to the gym 24 times in 31 days.

The goal is to return to my 7% body fat stage that I last achieved in July 2015, by the end of July.

Despite the strong gym attendance that I’ve planned for myself, the bulk of the work will take place in the kitchen and beyond, regarding what I plan to eat, drink and avoid.

Recently I was asked by USN to test out their all-in-one formula ‘USN Muscle Fuel Anabolic‘ which co-incided well with my new start and new goals to reach by the Summer.

muscle fuel anabolic USN

The shake is an all-round protein that supports muscle growth and helps you to build on what you already have. It also provided me with more energy during my workouts so that I could get even more out of them.

Usually I have a protein shake once my workout has finished, however this time I’d have half beforehand and the remainder afterwards.

I believe it’s the perfect accompanying protein formula that is going to take my training to the next level and ensure I’m on target for the Summer.

Oh and it tastes fantastic! I was given the Caramel Popcorn flavour and, without a doubt, it was the best tasting protein I’ve ever tried, which is important if you’re drinking at least one each and every day!

USN have a number of different protein ranges, depending on what your goals are. I’d strongly encourage you choose one that’s right for your goals, whether that’s becoming extra lean, bulking up or something else, it makes life a lot easier due to the convenience of incorporating it into your healthy diet.

A large part of reaching these goals is also to avoid the temptations around you. See them as a challenge and a test of your character.

For me it’s saying no to the ‘pic n mix’ guy who comes into work at least once a week now! As well as seriously limiting my alcohol when I’m out with friends.

Sometimes that’s saying no to your family when you’re attending events. They may wonder why and think you’re crazy, but you stay true to yourself because what you’re doing is just as much a test of your mentality as it is physically.

My promise to you guys is to support your diet with healthy and very tasty dishes that you won’t struggle to re-create or follow my instructions.

I can also offer you a 50% discount from USN that I personally get no financial benefit from you using, only the satisfaction that I’m able to help. Simply enter ‘FFA50‘ at the USN Checkout and you’ll get 50% immediately taken off all products (except gym wear & sale items).

Good luck whatever your goals may be and let’s get there as one.

Adam
