My Juci Wellbeing Trial

17/10/2014 by Adam

Last week I was contacted by a member of the Juci Wellbeing company and asked if I’d like to trial their ‘4 Day Detox Programme’ in exchange for writing up a review based on my thoughts on the products.

At first I was a bit reluctant due to the fact that I immediately associated the products with people who are trying to lose weight and kickstart their diet. This is not usually the sort of thing I would be interested in, however since really embracing the Fitness community, I’ve been asked on several occasions about these sorts of products. So I felt it was important to gain a proper perspective on what they are like.

As soon as I agreed, the products were dispatched to me. They arrived right on schedule and were packaged exceptionally well, which certainly started things off on a professional footing for me, as far as the company was concerned.

The contents consisted of 16 bottles of various juices, 4 for each of the 4 trial days. There were 3 different flavours; ‘Juci Boost’ was to be consumed at 9am and 6pm each day and was a nice blend of Cucumber, Brocoli, Lemon, Pineapple & Celery. Perhaps it was an unlikely combination of ingredients, but it was very refreshing, which I was a little surprised about as I thought they would all taste poorly.

The second of the bottles was known as ‘Juci Shine’ which was to be drank at 12pm every afternoon of the trial. According to the leaflet, it would give you an ‘instant energy lift, packed with nutrients to support healthy blood and circulation, encouraging toxin removal away from the cells’. The flavour was made up of Ginger (which I love!) & Carrot, it had a nice kick and really kept you going throughout the day.

The third and final bottle was called ‘Juci Lift’ and I was instructed to drink that at 3pm for the 4-day trial. It promised a ‘spicy combination packed with phytonutrients and antioxidants which would protect cells and stimulate their liver functioning’.

In all honesty, this drink took some getting used to as it was much thicker than the other bottles and contained Beetroot as one of it’s main dominant flavourings (hence the very purple colour!). I decided to pour the contents into a glass and add some extra water, this helped.

I did struggle in substituting my breakfast, lunches and any snacks inbetween but did still have an evening meal as I needed to maintain the level of protein my body consumes in order to maintain and improve my own goals. I would say Juci Wellbeing gave me more energy throughout the day and if I was in need of kickstarting a diet, this would be a very good place to start.

The reason it would be useful as a starting point is that everything has been arranged, blended (using high quality ingredients) and organised for you already. Many people give up because they find it difficult in planning their meals in advance, this trial eliminates that and you’re left with much-reduced calories throughout the day whilst giving your body the main nutrients it needs.

By the time you’ve finished the trial, you’ll have kickstarted your weight-loss goals by losing a number of pounds and can begin to change your consumption habits accordingly.
