How can CBD can help people quit smoking?

07/11/2019 by Adam

The claims about CBD sounds outrageous, read on to discover how this can be true. CBD is a specific substance from cannabis that gives you all the positive benefits of CBD without the “high” effect of THC.

THC is the other substance in cannabis that gets you “high.”  Smoking could be bad for you.  The lungs are not well adapted to deal with tobacco. The heat from a cigarette makes it difficult for smoke to absorb into the lungs. Cigarette smoke causes stress on the vital organs of the body and the whole body in general.

Sometimes the lungs are damaged while smoking tobacco, that is why smoke is associated with risks of developing chronic health problems.

Quitting smoking is one of the hardest things to do, and it could feel like an impossible task.  Studies have shown that about half of all smokers will try to quit in a year, and only 6% will succeed in their attempt. Quitting smoking has countless health benefits that pay off over time. Giving up smoking can extend life expectancy by ten years.

There are various treatments for quitting tobacco, but they come with some drawbacks. Drugs can be expensive and have adverse side effects.  CBD may also be an effective treatment for nicotine addiction.  What if you can make use of Cannabidiol to help quit smoking and improve health in various ways?

CBD and Withdrawal of Smoking

A recent study showed that full spectrum CBD oil could be a useful aid in quitting smoking. Scientists found that the non-psychoactive chemical in cannabis, which is called Cannabidiol (CBD oil) could reduce the number of cigarettes consumed by smokers who are willing to quit.

CBD’s role as an addiction treatment makes more sense when you look at some of its other benefits.

The benefits of CBD include stress relief.  Cannabidiol helps people who are trying to quit smoking by reducing tension, anxiety, and irritability associated with withdrawal.

Also, the inflammation relieving properties of CBD can help reduce headaches and body pain that nicotine can cause in smokers.  Without the pain, it is easier to concentrate, and there’s no reason to take a smoke.

CBD can also help with the sleep irregularities that are caused by nicotine withdrawal.  Research shows that increased doses of CBD can improve deep sleep cycles, while smaller doses promote wakefulness and alertness.

When you consume CBD oil with a vaporizer, the temperature at which the fuel is burned is much lower than if you were to burn plants and smoke them.  That way, it’s a win-win situation.  Research has indeed shown that CBD can help with several drugs addictions too. Maybe FDA is allowing stores to continue to sell CBD because of the benefits people receive when they partake?

Although there are various treatments for cigarettes addiction are available, researchers are still searching for more effective options, using closed loop extractors to create concentrates to test. CBD oil seems to present a promise when it comes to stopping smoking addiction. There is a tremendous psychological benefit for those who want to quit smoking.

How Can You Make Use of this Information?

If you want to hasten your progress in quitting smoking cigarettes, then you should try CBD oil.  CBD oil will also be of great benefits for your health in various ways. The benefits of quitting smoking can’t be overstated. While quitting smoking can be very difficult, CBD may provide the edge you need to give up the habit.
