Hotel Chocolat’s Easter Chocolate Goody Bag

14/03/2016 by Adam

hotel chocolatSo it’s almost Easter and after working so hard towards our fitness goals of late, it’s time we all had that occasional indulgence! Speaking of which there really is no better place to go than Hotel Chocolat.

Once again we’ve teamed up with them to let you know about one of their special Easter products, the ‘Easter Chocolate Goody Bag’.

Believe me this took a great deal of self-control to not finish the whole bag in one sitting!

What you get is a delicious selection of their Easter-specific products that would make anyone a lovely treat to enjoy.

More specifically, the goody bag contains the following products:-

  • Salted Caramel Nano Slab
  • Raspberry Egglets (I love that word!)
  • Trio of Scrambled Pralines
  • Caramel City Bunnies selector
  • Trio of Milk Chocolate Bunnies

Whilst we were away in Edinburgh over the past week I got my first taste of one of the Caramel City Bunnies when they were giving them out inside the Hotel Chocolat store (so generous!).

I was expecting the usual caramel taste but these went far beyond my expectations. The caramel is almost creamy and not set, which makes them very gooey and almost oozing from the inside.

You’ll know what I mean when you try one!

The Scrambled Pralines are also very indulgent as they contain a truffle-like centre. You can tell that these are of a very high quality.

The Raspberry Egglets are these small dark chocolate eggs that are filled with this delicious raspberry flavouring. At first I was unsure what to expect when I tried one but my expectations of Hotel Chocolat were already high, I wasn’t concerned in the slightest and they certainly didn’t disappoint.

The Salted Caramel Nano Slab is a small chunk of their finest salted caramel chocolate. I just wish it was bigger! Though it gave me the opportunity to try it first before purchasing the much larger version (which I’m almost certain to do!).

hotel chocolat2I think if you’re unsure what to buy someone for Easter and you want to go beyond just the basic egg, this would make a really thoughtful gift for someone. It’s got that little something special about it and although it may be slightly more expensive than your average Easter treat, it’s very much worth it.

Not to mention how grateful the other person will be when they try these chocolates and know they came from you!

I completely agree Helen. Now I just need to try and pace myself with the chocolates and not eat them all in one sitting! x
