Fat Burning Coffee

14/05/2020 by Adam

Coffee is known for its invigorating effect, which makes it indispensable in the morning. This is a natural energetic, with proper use of which you can increase endurance, improve mood, suppress appetite, put in order the work of many internal organs. All these properties have made it incredibly popular in bodybuilding and dietetics for weight loss and body shaping. We find out whether this drink can actually get rid of extra pounds.

How slimming works

Coffee, in fact, affects weight loss, because it is a natural source of one of the best fat burners. It contains caffeine – an alkaloid, a psychostimulant, a natural energetic. Through the walls of the stomach, it is absorbed into the blood, in response, noradrenaline, a hormone-neurotransmitter, is produced. Thanks to him, after a cup of aromatic drink, a person feels an incredible surge of strength and good mood. It also increases cardiac activity, due to which blood flow is accelerated.

All this ultimately contributes to weight loss:

metabolism is activated

Calories are intensively burned with increased energy production

temperature rises slightly (thermogenic effect)

appetite is suppressed

craving for junk food is reduced: sweet, fast food

urination increases, due to which excess fluid is excreted from the body

lipolysis is accelerated – fat stores begin to be intensively burned

eliminates the troubles associated with the digestive tract: bloating, flatulence, constipation – and without a laxative effect

It is also worth mentioning the moment when coffee interferes with weight loss. This is not a myth – this really can happen. This happens when caffeine interacts with cortisol, the stress hormone. Such a tandem leads to a sharp fluctuation in blood sugar. This arouses brutal appetite, which can only be drowned out in the gym. The second way out of this situation is to be less nervous and avoid stressful moments in order to prevent the “meeting” of caffeine and cortisol.

Which coffee to choose

In green, there are more useful substances, it has a milder effect on the nervous system, not so much exciting it. Fat burning occurs due to the large amount of chlorogenic acid that breaks down during frying. But black contains more caffeine. So in terms of losing weight, both are effective.

Organic or instant

Soluble is undoubtedly very convenient: it poured powder into a cup – poured boiling water – and already enjoy the aroma and taste. But those who at least once tasted organic coffee, are unlikely to ever want to return to loose. For weight loss, it is better to use a real one, without impurities and dubious composition. Organic coffee also has a mass of varieties

Types of Organic Coffee

Arabica is the most common coffee tree. It grows in an area located at 600-2500 m above sea level and reaches 3-8 m in height. It has a mild flavor with a slight acidity, contains 18% aromatic oils and 1-1.5% caffeine.

Robusta is a more productive tree with a height of up to 13 m. It grows no higher than 900 m above sea level, requires less expenses when growing. The grain contains up to 3% caffeine and up to 8% aromatic oils, which gives the drink a rich taste with bitterness.

The advantages and disadvantages of organic coffee

Features of growing, harvesting, transportation, extended ripening period provide organic coffee with a number of tangible advantages:

the absence of substances harmful to the body

bright and deep taste due to the high content of aromatic oils

anti-aging effect, increased stress resistance, reduced risk of cancer due to increased concentrations of antioxidants that protect the body from free radicals

improved mood and performance due to increased caffeine concentration

The increased caffeine content also provokes negative consequences. With too frequent use, an adverse effect on the cardiovascular system and sleep disturbance is possible. Due to kafestol, which gives the organic coffee a bitter taste, the level of cholesterol in the body rises. To avoid this, it is better to prepare the drink in a coffee maker with a paper filter, rather than an ordinary Turk.
