For a while now I’ve been wandering the aisles of my local supermarket and always passing by the alternatives to milk and yoghurt, but change is good, so I thought it was time to check out these Alpro products especially when each serving is less than 26 calories!
I bought the Coconut version of it and when I got home, poured the smallest ever portion into a shot glass. I guess I was expecting the worst but it turned out to be quite a pleasant and subtle taste of coconut.
The drink certainly offers a canvas to play with and the possibilities of adding it to cereal, porridge and smoothies is something I will certainly be experimenting with. Starting with today’s Blackberry Medley Smoothie that features this product along with some delicious fruits such as Blackberries & Kiwis.

Serves 1 | Prep 2 Mins
125g Blackberries
2 Kiwis (peeled & halved)
Handful of Spinach Leaves
100ml Alpro Fresh Coconut
2-3 Sprigs of Fresh Mint
Place all of the ingredient into a blender and blend on a low setting for 20-30 seconds.
For a smoother drink, pour the contents through a sieve into a large enough jug.
