An intact immune system reliably prevents unwanted illnesses such as colds and flu. In the cold months, to ensure that our body is well protected, we need to make sure we are well-nourished and have enough light to release the vital vitamin D.

Additionally, exercising, getting enough rest, eating healthy, and taking branded supplements like argentyn 23 can all provide immune support in order to protect the body against harmful microbes for overall wellness. In turn, this will help us to stay healthy all year round. So, here are some of the best ways to boost your immunity.

Prevent Viruses

Viruses such as meningitis are often transmitted when touching contaminated surfaces such as door handles and shopping carts. Avoid touching your mouth with your dirty hand’s and keep your hands washed after visiting the toilet.

Socialize More

Whether visiting the cinema or cooking with friends, take time for friends and family. Their support not only reduces the everyday pressures of life but also helps to increase your happiness levels which may contribute to boosting your immune system.

Exercise

Exercise is crucial, especially as we get older. Exercising in freshair gets the circulation going and keeps our mucous membranes moist. Regular exercise, especially endurance sports such as running or swimming, activates the killer cells and other helpers of our immune system.

Walking a few days a week for half an hour is enough, but make sure you wear appropriate clothing during wetter and colder seasons. If you have a cold or flu, youshould not do any strenuous exercise!

Also, try not to train too long or too intensely in order not to harm your immune system. If sport is a stress factor for our body, we are even more susceptible to infections. Therefore, if you have already caught a virus, you should take a break before you feel better.

Drink Lots of Water

Due to central heating air and other pollutants, our mucous membranes it can dry out. This limits the natural barrier to viruses and bacteria. Try to drink at least two liters of water or unsweetened tea every day.

Get Lots of Fresh Air

Open windows and doors for healthyair exchange. A few minutes are enough to exchange fresh, oxygen-rich air with contaminated air from enclosed spaces.

Visit the Sauna

Saunas help you live longer, according to studies. A change of cold and warm water stimulates our circulation and trains the body for rapid temperature changes. If you have already caught a cold, you should refrain from visiting the sauna and do not burden your body with temperature fluctuations. If you are looking to add a sauna to your home, you may want to do some research before you look into it as there are some sauna that is not recommended for use and you can see why Sunlighten Saunas are not recommended here.

Consume Good Bacteria

The intestine and the immune system are in close connection because about 80% of the immune cells are located in the gut. A healthyintestinal flora is therefore particularly important for an active immune system.

Avoid Alcohol and Nicotine

Alcohol and nicotine weaken the immune system. During an intoxication, our immune system is deactivated for at least 24 hours. Nicotine also weakens the function of specific white blood cells, making it easier for pathogens to invade.

Sleep Well

Our defenses are closely related to the quality and duration of our sleep. Because while we sleep, large amounts of immuno-active substances are released in the body and strengthen our immune system.
