Benefits For CBD Oil for Anxiety Pain

04/06/2018 by Adam

When it comes to alternative medicine, you may have heard the wonders of CBD oil, Full Spectrum CBD Oil or cannabidiol and its many benefits to the people who’ve tried it. Of course, if you aren’t familiar with CBD oil, you’ll most likely doubt if any of these claims are true. After all, like any alternative forms of medicine, not everything that they offer is compatible with your needs. However, it appears CBD oil has more benefits than meets the eye. For instance, it may actually be an efficient way to deal with anxiety pain. Forbes has predicted that the CBD market will grow to a $2.1 billion market in consumer sales by 2020, this has led to the creation of many CBD oil-related businesses, for example, CTFOCBDOnline has created a multi-level marketing business based around CBD oils and product. This is just one of the many examples!

For the uninitiated, cannabidiol or CBD is a cannabinoid component that is found in the cannabis plant. It’s actually the most prominent component in the plant, comprising of as much as 40-percent. What perhaps made scientists interested in CBD is the fact that it doesn’t have any of the psychoactive effects that are attributed to cannabis plants, which is what provides the “high” plants like marijuana have been noted for. The healthworxcbd studies on CBD have revealed that cannabinoid actually possesses a lot of potential for therapeutic use, which has led to the popularity of CBD oil for various uses. Part of these is how CBD oil may actually be helpful for anxiety pain and its other derivatives.

Anxiety And Pain

According to numbers from the Anxiety And Depression Association Of America, around 18-percent of the United States’ total population are affected by some form of anxiety disorder yearly. This amounts to more than 40-million adults in the country that are over 18 years old. While much of these disorders are treatable, ADAA numbers said 36.9-percent of sufferers only get to receive treatment. Of course, while seeking psychological assistance along with alternative outlooks, dietary changes, and exercise are just some things that can help with anxiety, sometimes these aren’t enough to help alleviate anxiety-related conditions. What surprised scientists researching trusted CBD oil is that the substance may in fact can help alleviate anxiety.

Various studies appear to conclude that CBD oil may have in fact contributed to the treatment of adults with social anxiety disorder, and have reduced stress for those with fear of public speaking.

  • Studies showed that CBD oil can help alter the blood flow in the cerebrum, reducing blood flow in areas such as the inferior temporal gyrus, the hippocampus, and the left parahippocampal gyrus, and increasing blood flow in areas like the right posterior cingulate gyrus. This, alongside assisting the hippocampus in its role to regenerate neurons, may have significant effects to the activity in the paralimbic and limbic brain areas and eventually reduce anxiety.
  • Cannabidiol may in fact be capable of changing the brain’s response to serotonin through changes in its receptors. An imbalance in serotonin levels has been linked to mood changes and even depression, and it appears CBD oil may help with restoring balance in this regard.
  • Cannabidiol may also help in enticing the body to be in a sleeping condition, possibly helping individuals that have some levels of insomnia due to anxiety.
  • Cannabidiol may also relieve anxiety symptoms such as increased heart rate, making it more comfortable for a person to deal with their everyday lives physiologically. This is why it’s no surprise that people will purchase cannabis from sites (such as https://www.cannacabana.com/ab/whitecourt) to help them cope with their anxiety.

In terms of pain, more than one out of three persons in the United States actually take painkillers in 2015. This amounts to almost 38-percent of the total country’s population, or a massive 92-million adults. As taking CBD oil may have an impact to the brain’s receptors, cannabidiol may also impact the way the body manages pain. Given its ability to relieve anxiety symptoms, it’s also found to be capable of lessening chronic pain and inflammation.

  • Cannabidiol is similar to THC, which is the strain of marijuana that is known for producing the “high” sensation. However, as said above, CBD is the non-addictive strain of the cannabis plant, but with similar effects. Like THC, CBD can inhibit glutamate neurotoxicity, which pertains to the potential toxic effects of taking excessive chronic pain killers.
  • Cannabidiol is also capable of demonstrating antioxidant activity far greater than tocopherol (Vitamin E) and ascorbic acid (Vitamin C), making it extremely capable of managing pain.
  • Cannabidiol and its ability to manage pain can extend through helping manage pain from things such as injuries, pain from illness, chemotherapy, and even menstrual cramping.

The Takeaway: The Practicality of CBD Oil

A lot of people might doubt the efficiency of CBD oil given the negative reception towards marijuana as a substance for potential abuse. However, if this says anything about the plant, it appears cannabidiol is one of marijuana’s many non-addictive parts that can actually be beneficial to a lot of users – given the right consultation, preparation, and consumption. If you’re looking towards using CBD oil for your anxiety pain, it might actually be an option you can inquire about to your doctor.
