Veggie Pizza Pittas
Ingredients
- 4 white pittas
- For the Sauce
- 200ml passata
- 4 tbsp tomato puree
- ½ tsp garlic granules
- ½ tsp caster sugar
- salt & pepper
- extra virgin olive oil
- Toppings
- Red onion (thinly sliced)
- Red pepper (thinly sliced)
- Frozen sweetcorn
- Sun-dried tomatoes (diced)
- Cherry tomatoes (quartered)
- Olives (sliced)
- Fresh chilled (de-seeded and diced)
- Dried oregano
- Vegan cheese (grated)
- Vegan pesto
- Serve with homemade wedges and corn on the cobs
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees C
- Make the tomato sauce
- Arrange the pittas onto a baking try
- Spread the tomato sauce onto the pittas
- Add the toppings
- Bake in the oven for 5 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the edges of the pittas feel crispy.
