Parents, sometimes, write down small notes of appreciation to put it into their children’s lunchboxes. Nothing will make your kids happier and appreciate you more if you make them a healthy lunch they can enjoy during the school break. Meanwhile, for you working people, and parents, what you eat at lunch affects your productivity through the remaining day. Having lunches with high fat and sugar will make you sleepy and lower your stamina. A lot of office workers will often go out to get their lunch. As they often don’t have a lot of time available to them, they can be known to go to fast-food restaurants for a quick lunch. However, this isn’t healthy or beneficial for workers. Office workers should really consider looking for a healthier alternative for their lunch. With the increase in people looking for healthier lunches, a lot more shops are opening offering these foods. These are known to be great for office workers and are a lot healthier than fast-food. Healthy food is essential, be sure to find some where possible.

The Elvis Burrito

Take a toasted whole wheat wrap and spread some peanut butter over it. Then sprinkle some crumbled bacon and drizzle honey all over it. Now, peel a whole banana at the edge of the wheat wrap and roll it. Press the wheat roll gently to crush the banana and form a shape like a cylinder. You can also slice the banana and scatter it all over the wheat wrap.

Rice Bowl with Avocado and Fried Egg

This recipe includes brown rice, which is high in fiber and other nutrients than the typical white rice. If you want to make your children a quick and protein-heavy lunch, this is a great choice.

Bacon and Egg Tortellini

Kids love pasta. Besides the common pasta like Mac and cheese, lasagna, try something different. Pasta should be served hot, but do you know filled pasta still taste great at room temperature? Plus, you can find a wide variety of jerky online so you’ll be able to mix up the flavors a lot and create lots of tasty combinations.

Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich

Have a peanut butter and jelly sandwich is a great choice for having lunch at the office. But remember to use whole grain bread as it’s high in fiber. Also, have an apple and a few baby carrots for those extra nutrients that will keep you motivated for the rest of the day.

Hummus and Whole Grain Pita, Cherry Tomatoes, String Cheese, and Grapes

Hummus is high is iron, fiber, calcium, and protein. It’s also rich in healthy fats that good for your heart and prevents your blood sugar levels from rising.

Teriyaki bowl

This is a healthy takeout alternative. You can have a beef or chicken teriyaki bowls in many sushi and Asian restaurants. It’s a balanced meal, easy to handle and eat at your office desk or a park bench.

Grilled Salmon, Vegetables, and Rice

Grilled salmon or chicken with some vegetables and rice on the side is a great balanced meal. It’s high in protein, fiber, and other nutrients. It’s also easy to eat while you are discussing business or in a meeting room.

Entree salad

This is great lunch option if you taking out one of your colleagues or a client for lunch. Try having an entrée salad like seafood or a Cobb Salad.
