5 Gifts Perfect for Fitness Junkies

21/11/2019 by Adam

It can be difficult to know what the fitness junkie in your life needs. They’ve already got their gym pass, their favorite clothing, their bag – what else could they possibly want?

To shop for a fitness lover, you have to think like a fitness lover. What might make their life easier? What can you get them that will make their fitness goals more track-able and achievable? And what activities can you hook them up with that will be both fun andsweat inducing?

This article has you covered. If you’re struggling trying to nail down the perfect gift for the consummate exerciser in your life, try one of these five gift ideas.

Wireless Headphones

One of the supremely annoying things about listening to music or a podcast at the gym is getting caught up in those dangling wires. They get caught in the cable exercises, they flop around the weight bench and they swing all over when you’re trying to run.

That’s why wireless headphones will always be a great gift for an exercise junkie. Provided they don’t already have a pair (air pods don’t count, because they prone to falling out with vigorous exercise) then wireless headphones will be much appreciated.

An Axe Throwing Pass

To get your fitness junkie out of the gym and into something a little more fun, take them axe throwing. It’s still a great workout, targeting your lats, core and legs primarily, but it’s also exciting and new.

When you get them a pass to go axe throwing, they get a free tutorial and practice session, so no prior skill is required. From there, you can challenge them to a round-robin tournament to see whose power and aim is greater. It’s a really fun activity and an experiential gift that they’ll remember for a long time.

A Premium Podcast Subscription

Podcasts are a great gym companion, but oftentimes the best ones are hidden behind a pay wall. Get them over that wall with a subscription to a podcast service.

PC Mag has a great list of top podcast subscription apps, each of which would make a wonderful gift. You’re not just giving them a podcast subscription; you’re giving them an informational, funny, absorbing new way to enjoy the gym.

Personal Training

Even the best could still use a few pointers from the pros. There’s no fitness lover that’s going to turn down a personal training session or two, making this a very safe gift.

Book them a training session somewhere other than their regular gym. It’s more fun for them if they get to try out a new facility. And if the fitness junkie in your life isn’t really into straight training, get them a class pass, where they can experiment with different fitness classes.

A New Fitness Tracker

They might already have a fitness tracker, but chances are it’s outdated. Fitness lovers were the first to jump on the fitness tracker bandwagon years ago, meaning their hardware probably doesn’t pack the latest technology.

The best fitness trackers come with an assemblage of high-tech features, like a heart rate monitor, sleep tracking, internet, music, smartphone notifications, etc.

BONUS: A Personalized Phone Case

Smartphones are a necessity nowadays and almost everyone uses them, including fitness junkies. These gadgets need adequate protection from dents and scratches. A perfunctory phone cover is considered sufficient, but why not make a custom one that’s perfect to give away as a gift? Custom Envy can accommodate any design you want for a wide range of phone models out there.

Whether it’s for a birthday or the holidays, or just because, these five gifts will cause the fitness lover in your life to do jumping jacks of joy!
