Veggie Pizza Pittas
 
 
Ingredients
  • 4 white pittas
  • For the Sauce
  • 200ml passata
  • 4 tbsp tomato puree
  • ½ tsp garlic granules
  • ½ tsp caster sugar
  • salt & pepper
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • Toppings
  • Red onion (thinly sliced)
  • Red pepper (thinly sliced)
  • Frozen sweetcorn
  • Sun-dried tomatoes (diced)
  • Cherry tomatoes (quartered)
  • Olives (sliced)
  • Fresh chilled (de-seeded and diced)
  • Dried oregano
  • Vegan cheese (grated)
  • Vegan pesto
  • Serve with homemade wedges and corn on the cobs
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees C
  2. Make the tomato sauce
  3. Arrange the pittas onto a baking try
  4. Spread the tomato sauce onto the pittas
  5. Add the toppings
  6. Bake in the oven for 5 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the edges of the pittas feel crispy.
